Born in Stow, Ohio in 1989, Dan graduated from Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (CVCA) in 2007 before attending Bethel University (Indiana) on a baseball scholarship, where he earned a degree in Business Administration in 2011.
Just three days after graduation, he began working with the Cleveland Cavaliers (NBA) in Business Operations and Sales. Over the next eight years, he earned multiple promotions and a 2016 NBA Championship ring, shaping his career in the sports industry.
Upon leaving the Cavaliers organization In 2019, Dan opened Coastal Swing Golf & Bar in Catawba Island, Ohio— just a month after marrying his beautiful wife, Nicole. What started as a vision to combine golf, social connection, and a welcoming atmosphere has grown into multiple locations across the region. Beyond creating a place to play and gather, Coastal Swing Golf & Bar now helps others pursue their entrepreneurial goals through its franchising platform.
